The gift card industry has annual sales of over $100 billion in the U.S. Some estimates are that as much as $20 billion dollars per year in gift cards is either lost, stolen, or goes unused. Gift Card Combo aims to close that gap by providing services that allow consumers to store all of their gift card information in one place and to track the value of their cards.
Gift Card Combo will develop a mobile application to link those gift cards to a financial account and a payment card, such as a debit card or a credit card. When a consumer uses his payment card, Gift Card Combo determines if the consumer has a gift card with that merchant. If a valid gift card is on file, Gift Card Combo applies the value of the gift card before applying the funds in the account.
Gift Card Combo will be very attractive for our partners, such as banks and telephone companies because Gift Card Combo will charge a fee for this service and split it with our partners. Also, since a payment card is required, it encourages young people to obtain bank accounts, which provides more incentive for banks to partner with Gift Card Combo. Gift Card Combo has filed U.S Patent Application No. 13/656,848 on the method and system for performing these services.
Gift Card Combo also intends to sell and resell gift cards to the public. Gift Card Combo will facilitate the exchange of privately owned gift cards between people who want to sell and purchase existing gift cards and will take a commission for doing so.
Finally, Gift Card Combo will provide a digital wallet service to its customers. Digital wallets digitize all of the cards and items in the customer’s wallet and is more secure because it requires a password for access. Digital wallet applications and services are gaining a foothold in the market and are experiencing massive growth due to the large number of mobile devices. Digital wallets will be provided to individuals, families, and corporations at different rates.
Our service is about ease of use and saving customers’/members’ money by allowing them to access the value of all of their gift cards from their existing payment card without needing to have the gift cards physically present at the time of purchase. Customers can track the value of their gift cards from a mobile device, and receive notices of impending expiration of a card. Gift Card Combo also intends to facilitate the exchange of existing gift cards between buyers and sellers.
Gift Card Combo intends to sell gift cards at a discount directly to the public by buying blocks of cards directly from retailers and passing a portion of the discount to our customers.

Steve Holland started his first company, New Millennium Mortgage, in 1997, with 10,000 dollars. In three short years New Millennium Mortgage had over 100 employees and was doing business in five states. To reduce expenses, and for tax reasons, Steve started four additional subsidiary companies for appraisals, titles, marketing, and real estate brokerage. Steve managed everything as the CEO and enjoyed ten years in the real estate industry. The 2008 real estate crash forced Steve to close four companies.
Next, Steve started Free Green Can, a company the sold advertising on recycling bins. See www.freegreencan.com. In the first year, Steve completed a multi-million dollar contract with PepsiCo. Free Green Can is currently under contract to be sold.
Gift Card Combo is Steve Holland’s best idea yet. With funding to complete the software and a platform contracted by SAP. Our goal is do $1 million in sales in 2013 and to capture 1% of market share in 2014, or $35,000,000.00.
