Salome’s story

Salome, age 49, raises pigs to earn her living. She has been in this business for 15 years now, and has borrowed nine times in the past from NWTF to sustain it.

Salome and her husband have four children, two of whom are still in school.

She requested a loan in the amount of PhP 10,000 through NWTF in order to buy feed, vitamins, and other supplies with which to raise her livestock.

In the future, she would like to save enough money to be able to afford to send her children to college.
