BDRC, Battery Diagnostics and Regeneration Centre, is a battery service centre that operates specifically with lead-acid and AGM batteries. It is the only company of its kind in North America to manufacture the computerized technology that can regenerate discharged and dead batteries to a percentage of their performance capacity. This computerized process delivers electric currents ranging from 300 to 400 amps that dissipate sulphate and crystallization formed within the cells of the battery. Battery Diagnostics and Regeneration Centre is at the forefront of social and economic trends with cost-saving and environmentally friendly services.Battery Diagnostics and Regeneration Centre is at the forefront of social and economic trends with cost-saving and environmentally friendly services.

BDRC is part of a global network of battery regeneration companies that span over 30 different countries. BDRC is the sole owner of the rights to this type of technology in Canada and the U.S. The absence of this technology in North America is primarily due to the non-certification of UL and CSA standards, something that BDRC undertook to resolve in 2014. BDRC is environmentally compliant and adheres to the local and national requirements set to run a business. There is room for expansion and development of the business and the company is currently creating a self sustainable prototype unit with the aim of future franchising.

Products / Services

Battery Regeneration

The primary purpose of the business is to save customers between 60-70% of their operational costs by utilizing a process known as Electrochemical Sulphate Reversion. Currently, there is no industry in Canada that specializes solely in the diagnostics and regeneration of industrial batteries with the same technology as BDRC. BDRC offers high quality battery regeneration services as well as accessories and sales of regenerated batteries. We offer battery regeneration services to a variety of industries including the automotive industry, the material handling sector and telecommunications providers. Our unique regenerator gives us a competitive advantage because we are able to offer a service unmatched in the lead-acid battery market.

Research & Development

Our research and development focuses on researching sustainable solutions to harness the energy from the mechanical discharge process back into usable electricity. BDRC also conducts research on solar panels and wind generators to develop a holistic method of acquiring the energy to operate BDRC regeneration centres. BDRC aims to combine the use of solar energy to power the regeneration centres autonomously and operates outside the grid and be self-sustainable. This will enable developing countries in the Caribbean and South Americas to operate their own service stations without the use of electrical power from the grid.
