Benefits

I’ve done the design, testing, and prototyping, but the tooling and raw materials for manufacturing are expensive. So I need your support to help pay for an initial production run and make this great product become a reality. Don’t be a slave to the stove…let the Magic Whistling Lid whistle while it works and help give back time and peace of mind to you and your family.  I have lots of great rewards for project backers, so please consider funding to help make this exciting product come to life!

Risks and challenges

The Magic Whistling Lid team is working extremely hard to prepare for the initial production run. However, the risks and challenges that we anticipate revolve around the manufacturing for this first production run. The current pre-production phase involves expensive tooling and molding and requires the right expertise to properly setup everything for consistent manufacturing to the design specifications. In order to mitigate these manufacturing risks we are constantly talking with the supplier and testing production aspects via several rounds of prototyping to better understand full scale production challenges and potential issues. We know that there will likely be a few surprises throughout this process and thus, we are committed to working through any issues, even if minor, in a detailed hands-on manner to ensure a high quality final product.
