About this project

Where we want to go

Time and skill, two thing that bring a good lathe piece together. We incorporate both into each piece we create. whether it be a bowl or a pen our pieces will bring flare to your home.

The goal with this Kickstarter is twofold. First we want to share our skills with as many people as possible. Secondly, in order to accomplish our first goal we need the tools of the trade. These tools will allow us open up new possibilities and create amazing art.

When you support this project, you are supporting a father and son advancer. My father an I have been working together for years and one thing we loved doing together was lathe work. Growing up with six older sisters, and being the only boy, me and my dad would work with our hands and stay out of the house. We have sense moved away from each other and this would allow us to work together again.

Our base funding goal of $2,000 gets the ball rolling, but we consider that the bare minimum. our stretch goal of $10,000 will greatly expand the potential of what we can do. If we hit our goal of the first 15 backers that have given $40 or more will receive a FREE WOOD BOWL! You can help us hit our goal in two ways. First, back our project, but don’t stop there. Share our project with your friends. Help us spread the word and earn the FREE bowl.

Risks and challenges

The first challenge is not knowing what kind of response we will get from our Kickstarter. The first step when we receive funding is finding a place to work out of. This should not be hard, we are willing to work out of our garages till we can find a suitable place. The second step is getting the proper tools and lathe. We hope to be settled with in one or two months. The first rewards will start shipping shortly after.
The good news about this plan is that with a larger response rate the faster we can get in and settled and have product ready to ship.
