William (Bill) started in the electronics industry in the mid 1980’s as a basic level technician trainee, pulling wire and installing systems. In the late 80’s he was hired by a retailer in Chicago to develop an in house installation team which later grew to about 20 techs. Moving on into a sales position, he was mentored by a long time salesman and became the 2nd highest sales person in the company within one year. In the early 90’s an opportunity to start up a business as co-owener presented itself. After 5 years Bill closed the business and rolled up the staff, clients and his own sales ability to work for another company with a larger install team.
In the late 90’s Bill was recruited by Crestron Electronics to be their first company owned sales person. within 3 years he grew a territory from $500K to $5MM and was promoted to a National Sales position in NJ where he launched several divisions. In 2009 he left to start Assurity based on observations needed in the industry.
