PACS (Pathogen Asset Control System) is a division of Black & Veatch, an engineering firm. The PACS program is stationed in Moscow Russia. Its mission is to develop a software to control, analyze and maintain various pathogens in private and public laboratories world-wide.
PACS is a laboratory freezer software system, that is specifically used for pathogen control.
Will provide maintenance and support for PACS software if the service is purchased by the existing customer. Provide post-installed training to customers as well as continuous training as-needed for customers.
Provide government agencies who regulate pathogen laboratories in the United States with detailed information about inventories and tracking of pathogens in those labs.
Provide a detailed report of the current status of pathogen laboratories research and inventories across the country generated from the information generated from usage of the PACS software.

Provide self-audit services to existing customers who have purchased the PACS software system. This will maximize efficiency for laboratories who currently are required to report detailed information to the government.
Pathogen Networks allows members to search for colleagues and scientific literature about strange symptoms or rare issues within the pathogen world.
PACS Product Manager/Control Account Manager.
Working on PACS development and implementation since 2005. Responsible for product profile/specification, interaction with the client, managing scope, cost and schedule of development. Also managing implementation project for another software package that B&V develops for disease surveillance on a country level.
Education: Master, Design and Implementation of Information Systems from State University – Higher State of Economics; Mast, Applied Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT)
Thomas Wahl, Vice President for B&V. Program Manager. Established B&V Moscow office in 2000, manages multi-million programs for government clients since that time, and staff of over 100 people. Involved in PACS since the idea stage.
PACS Quality Assurance Manager. Working on PACS development and implementation since 2009. Responsible for testing and release of the product, as well software requirements analysis.
