White Collar “Fight Night” for Operation Smile Foundation Thailand- We’re doing it for the Kids!

It’s Daryn Hudson v’s Brad Edman in the fight of the decade! The Kids of Thailand need us to raise funds for them! e thank you in advance for your support!

We are two guys that work for Marriott International as General Managers and love what we do every day. We wear suits to work and between us have never been in the boxing ring! So why are we exchanging our suits for sweaty boxing attire….We are stepping into the ring at “Fight Night”, a knock out night for charity to support Operation Smile Foundation Thailand. We are doing it for the Kids! All the funds we raise in the build up to the event and on the night go 100% to Operation Smile Foundation Thailand. We need your sponsorship!

We are also looking for companies to sponsor us on the big night. Its for a great cause so lets dig deep!

Operation Smile conducted its first mission in Thailand in 1997. An international team of medical volunteers conducted two medical missions: one in Bangkok at the King Mongkut Hospital, and the other at the regional hospital in Yasothorn province. During these missions 172 Thai children suffering from cleft lips and/or cleft palates received free surgeries.

In September 2001, Operation Smile Thailand registered with the Office of the National Culture Commission of Thailand to establish Operation Smile Thailand. An Executive Committee and a Board of Directors was established to oversee Operation Smile Thailand and an Executive Director was appointed. Within one year Operation Smile Thailand was financially self-sustaining.

Operation Smile Thailand has worked hard to promote self-sustainability by recruiting highly qualified Thai medical professional volunteers. By doing so it has allowed Operation Smile Thailand to conduct multiple surgical missions per year, and since 1997 they have provided over 10,000 free surgeries for children in the Kingdom of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. Operation Smile Thailand also provides post-operative care including speech pathology and orthodontics.

Operation Smile Thailand has reached out to the farthest corners of the countryside, with medical missions to Tak, Ubon Ratchathani, Pitsanulok, Khon Kaen, Saraburi, Chiang Mai, Nan, Nakhon Phanom, Chonburi, Yasothorn, Amnat Chareon, Sisaket, Nakhon Srithammarat, Songkla, Yala, Samutsakorn, Kanchanaburi, Nonthaburi and Surin, providing hope and happiness to children and their families.

Please join us in a our campaign to raise awareness and funds for Operation Smile Thailand and help us knock out cleft deformities one smile at a time!
