Dr. Juli Mazi, A Naturopathic Doctor Corporation
I was born to be a healer, a teacher, an entrepreneur. Born and raised in Sacramento, California, I completed high school in 3 years and moved up to Seattle, Washington and earned my AA degree in a little over 1 year. What can I say? I love to learn, and I’m a fast learner. I lived most of my adult life in Portland, Oregon, where I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication and Conflict Resolution with an emphasis in Nonviolent Communication at Portland State University. Then, I went to Naturopathic Medical School at the National University of Natural Medicine. After graduation, I moved to Santa Cruz, California, where I began practicing as a naturopathic doctor at an already established practice for over a year. Then, two of my colleagues and I opened our own practice together, which is now an incredible holistic healing center, with practitioners of multiple modalities, such as acupuncture, massage, Rolfing, nutrition, life coaching, energy work, and aesthetics. We bring a huge array of healing methods to California’s central coast. I love what I do. I love to work with people to help them feel their best. It’s my honor to help people optimize their health, watch their vitality radiate, and see how they shine. When people feel their best, they can then share their gifts with this world.

More about this loan
I am a naturopathic doctor and co-owner of a holistic healing center in Santa Cruz, California. I began practicing in 2012 as an independent contractor at an established naturopathic practice with 3 other doctors. After about a year there, I opened my own practice with two other naturopathic doctors. Our business has grown very fast into a large holistic healing center with multiple holistic healing practitioners of all sorts. Our patients range from people who are already healthy looking to optimize their health, to people who are medical mysteries with incorrect diagnoses, to people with very complicated medical history, who may be on a long list a pharmaceutical medications and they want off.
I practice a lot of IV nutritional therapy, which can deliver large doses of nutrients to people, passively. For instance, we use a lot of high dose vitamin C intravenously for cancer patients. High dose vitamin C is preferentially chemotherapeutic, meaning it kills cancer cells and helps healthy cells to thrive. This is a powerful treatment for cancer patients either as an alternative or an adjunctive therapy with chemo/radiation. We also administer a lot of vitamin injections, such as vitamin B12, which helps with energy, mood, immunity, sleep, and stress resilience. People feel instantly better with IV and injection therapies. My dream is to purchase a mobile IV unit, so I can take IV and injection therapy to people who may not be able to access it at our brick-and-mortar practice.
What is the purpose of this loan?
This loan will help me purchase a mobile IV unit. Ideally, I’d like to purchase a used Airstream trailer, and these go for a wide range of anywhere between $6,000-20,000. We would need to remodel the trailer to suit our needs and create a sterile field for prepping IV bags and injection therapies. Having a mobile unit would open up some huge opportunities for us to serve a wider population, and give me and my family the freedom to travel. While I work in the mobile IV unit, I can also rent my office space for use by another doctor.
