Since 1998, People’s Care has been working to ensure the best
quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and the
elderly. We have trained staff people who provide behavioral
management and community-based day programs, residential care,
supported living environments, attentive personal assistance services, site-
based and community base day programs, and intensive autism
therapy proven to have a real impact in the lives of children who have autism.

Residential Care for People that are Developmentally Disabled
We provide very specialized care for adults and children with developmental disabilities that also have either severe behavioral challenges or severe healthcare needs or both.
Day Programs for People that are Developmentally Disabled
We provide very specialized day programs for adults that are developmentally disabled who also have severe behavioral challenges or severe healthcare needs or both. Our programs focus on employment or microenterprise for this population that has historically been shut out of the workforce.
Supported Living for Adults that are Developmentally Disabled
This program provides intense support and case management for adults with a developmental disability so that they may live independently in their own house or apartment supported 24 hours a day by our very highly trained staff.
This program provides intensive therapy to children diagnosed with autism. Autism affects 1 in 68 children born in the US and 1 in 42 boys boys born in the US. Early intervention therapy in the form of Applied Behavioral Analysis for very young children with autism – some as young as 18 months – is effective for improving IQ, language ability, and social interaction, a comprehensive new study has found. This therapy is an essential health benefit under the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare)
Senior in Home Care
Non medical in home care giving for seniors so that they do not need to be placed into an assisted living facility.
Chaps accredited home healthcare that specializes in working with people with developmental disabilities. While our our agency has a specialty in working with people with developmental disabilities, our agency provides home healthcare services to both people that are developmentally disabled as well as non disabled people. Currently there are 291,000 people in California that are diagnosed with a developmental disability.
Hospice is end of life care. It is fully funded through medicare and is a program that 100% of the population could potentially eventually benefit from. It is accredited by the Joint Commission on Healthcare (JCOH) Like most of our other programs this one specializes in working with people with developmental disabilities. While our our agency has a specialty in working with people with developmental disabilities, our agency provides hospice services to both people that are developmentally disabled as well as non disabled people.
