More about this loan

Business Description

Primarily this is a home based business. We aim to provide quality denim blue jeans without breaking the bank. The average American household has 6 – 7 pairs of jeans. Women tend to have more than Men. The average price of a jeans is $47 (census.gov) We want to offer a stylish and trendy product well below the national average and build up a loyal client base.

Our next goal is to get into whole selling to retailers and acquiring bulk orders. We can also customize and produce private label for our buyers. Ultimate aim is to get into a brick and mortar location and grow from there into multiple retail outlets.

Our target customers are generations Y & Z.

What is the purpose of this loan?

This loan will significantly help in settling the last lap of the import process. My material is already en route and is expected to reach here by mid of September 2016. I need the loan to clear the custom formalities, import duties, and local transportation to my storage. The consignment is worth $50,000 and I need about 20% of that to help with the above, import duties itself being @ 17%~

The loan will help my current cash crunch situation and I will not have to incur interest/fees while borrowing from Kiva. Once I start selling I can recycle the loan towards marketing and business promotions to further boost my social presence / have a robust website etc.
