I started my business in 2015 to sell artwork and jewelry after working for over a decade in design, then needed to have surgery not long after. Once recovered, I caught a flu and was in bed with numb hands and feet for two more months. Now that I am healthy, I am back in full working condition and ready for a real start.
I decided to shift mainly back into art, as I intended before working in design, after dealing with too many volatile corporate offices. The stress was unbearable and I wanted to make something I felt had real worth to society and would not expire. So I make art with a thread of positivity, and a connection to the greater values in life. I create symbols of expression through painting to spotlight the value of what people value or desire because daily appreciation builds strength in mind, in heart, and can assist success. Creating activities to bring people together in expression of what is meaningful is a part of this, and why I enjoy commissioned work.
The problem I believe really worth solving is to help people avoid forgetting to appreciate, love, and nurture what they have. This includes themselves. I want to help support a better state of mind and living, and influence leaders and decision makers to consider this when shaping the world. I desire to disempower stress and other factors which can cause blocks in the flow of happiness.
