About this project

Basic backdrop set-up
Basic backdrop set-up

I’m in the business of changing the way we edit our photos. You can easily scrap a solid hour (especially in the case of newborn photography) by using a digital backdrop. These backdrops will make your life easier when you edit because they are predictable and perfectly assembled for your convenience. Feel confident every time you shoot in the studio 🙂

IMPORTANT:

I will only be supporting local businesses to make this happen. Local prop producers or I will be hand-making them myself. It is important to support our small businesses and it is definitely a winning idea. They will be tagged in Facebook photos for your reference, or if you wish to purchase their props yourself.

So basically I will be designing a series of backdrops to assist photographers who don’t have the time or money to spend buying and setting up props only to make next to no profit.

Here is a general idea of how funds will be used:
– sourcing and purchasing local producers for handmade props
– local studio hire to set up and photograph the different set-ups
– covering cost of marketing and social media marketing
– setting up and designing a website
– Photoshop/Lightroom software

All money raised in Kickstarter will strictly go back into the business
Other than that, you may feel free to send me any questions you may have and I will certainly reply with haste 🙂

Risks and challenges

the only risk I believe is the off chance that the photo wont turn out. But with my experience in digital editing and camera work I believe I wont have these challenges.
