The communal loan group Amigas Unidas de Copancara will begin its second loan cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Centro Focal Copacabana. It is made up of nine members and is led by officers of whom Felicidad is the president.
The loan that they will get will benefit the small micro-business owners of whom Felicidad is one. Currently, she has a business selling meat. She says that she learned this business on her own a number of years ago.
The loan that she will get now will be to increase her capital of meat, noodles, and oil in bulk, which she will get from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. Later, she will sell it in her retail space. This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family since she is a widow and has six children.
In this group: Felicidad, Nelly Nilvarda, Fanny Yovana, Petrona , Jimena , Lucy , Olga, Juan Erasmo, Ruben
