Preservation & co.
Jason has a background in hospitality. Working 17 years in bars and restaurants from the busser position, to the GM, and every front of the house job in-between. It is through this understanding of food and service that Preservation & co. was created. He started the company in 2011 as a hobby and creative outlet, while serving as the General Manager of Pour House in Sacramento. In November of 2012, shortly after Pour House opened, he entered a recipe into the National Absolut Bloody Mary Search. After taking first place in CA, he took the silver medal at the National event in NY. Silver medal ended up being the best place to be in, as the recipe for 1st place was trademarked by Absolut. 2nd place only went home with a laptop bag and a pair of shoes, but was able to take that recipe and turn it into a thriving company.

More about this loan
Preservation & co. is a specialty foods business based out of Sacramento, CA that is dedicated to handcrafting the finest specialty food products. We started out company in 2011, and quickly grew from a 10×10 storage unit, to a 4800 sq. ft. production facility. The company was started as a hobby and a love for preserved foods… that is food that has been preserved through canning, and never adding preservatives. As we continue to grow, we find that sometimes growing too quickly can actually be one of the most difficult parts of our industry. We began making a couple batches of product out of a restaurant that I ran, and now we produce products
