FREEFLOW TECHNOLOGIES

Join a revolution in electric bike technology

The $9 billion global E-Bike market is rapidly growing, expanding over 12x in Europe in the last decade FreeFlow Technologies have developed and published a patent for the world’s lightest power to weight E-Bike transmission system. Our E-Bike beats the competition on weight, power, energy efficiency and ride quality powered and unpowered

THE IDEA

PRODUCTS & SERVICES

FreeFlow Technologies (FFT) have developed an E-Bike that beats the competition on looks, weight, energy efficiency and ride quality powered and unpowered. Our E-Bike transmission system is patent published in 14 territories worldwide, including Europe, USA and China. The global E-Bike market is c.$9 billion, with over 30 million units sold per annum. The European market alone has grown over 12x in the last decade. Target customers include leading bike brands, automotive companies looking to break into the space, distributors, retailers and city bike schemes. FFT have a second product line, the M-Bike, which is more energy efficient and user friendly than conventional fixed wheel bike

PROBLEM SOLVED

FFT’s patented transmission system involves two one directional bearings, allowing electric motor and rider pedal power inputs, which both drive the bike’s crank shaft, to be decoupled. This means that if a rider abruptly stops pedalling, or back pedals, there is no risk of damaging the motor. For this reason, a high speed motor can be used that is small enough to be housed in the bicycle frame. Most competitors have bulky external motors and battery packs. Vivax have the motor concealed in the frame, however, without transmission system technology like ours, they are limited to using a lower power motor

REVENUE MODEL

Our model is based primarily on white label sales of E-Bikes and electrical transmission systems (ETS) to bike brands. We also plan to sell to bike dealers through distributors, and initially through our own channels as we test the product and market. Our E-Bike will retail at c.£2,500, which is mid to high end compared to competition in the European and US markets. Across all products we are aiming for a gross margin of just under 60% (see accompanying P&L / cash flow doc for detailed margins by channel). We are also open to licensing opportunities, and will explore this during discussions with brands at Eurobike 2016

EXIT STRATEGY

The plan for investor exit will be through a re-financing, sale or market listing in 2019/20 depending on business trajectory
