Liliana’s story

My name is Liliana Sosa. I am from Peru from a small village called Callao where it is hard to support a large family. I have four brothers and four sisters with me being the oldest when my parents work in a farm taking care of animals and they did not make enough money to support the family.

One day I decided to immigrate to the United States crossing the border. I suffer ed a lot because I fell down and it took me 2 months to get to San Lorenzo, California. Eight weeks later I started working for a restoration company. I’ve been working for the past 23 years. Two years ago I decided to start my own house cleaning business – this would allow me the freedom to work for myself and support my family.

This loan is special because:

It helps expand a working mother’s cleaning services in the San Francisco Bay Area.
