Driven by new federal regulations and the increasing cost of healthcare, providers are struggling to find ways to do more with less. In order to do this, providers are analyzing data to look for helpful insights. It’s a lot of information to manage and analyze, but it doesn’t have to be a burden.
All the client has to do is place their EDI files on an encrypted drive or upload them to our secure cloud, and we handle the rest.
This isn’t a shell in the cloud. This is a data warehouse in the client’s private Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Healthcare analytics have never been easier, faster, or more effective!
The healthcare industry is facing increasing pressure in the areas of compliance, regulation, patient safety, and finance. Basically, healthcare providers are expected to improve patient outcomes while also reducing costs. A seemingly impossible feat!
As a result of this mounting pressure, providers must analyze data to find its hidden insights, in hopes of finding a cost-effective way to provide high quality patient care.
To address the increased need for analytics, healthcare providers need a data warehouse. However, traditional data warehouses suffer from many problems.
Traditional data warehouses are clearly less than ideal. Seeing a need for something different, we created Instant Health Analytics (IHA) to create a more effective solution for healthcare providers.
Instant Health Analytics (IHA) provides a simple and affordable way to create a data warehouse from industry standard EDI Claim files. Customers just upload their files, and we provide the cloud data warehouse. It’s really that easy!
All healthcare providers are required by law to send and receive healthcare claims using industry X12 electronic data interchange (EDI) files. To help our customers take advantage of this information, we have created a data model and a suite of products that consume the EDI files and populate a data warehouse for each customer.
Selecting IHA just makes sense.
To turn files in a directory into a single, integrated cloud data warehouse, Instant Health Analytics (IHA) utilizes an industry-proven data model that has been in use for 15 years. We also utilize our own products, which are all metadata-driven.
Our team has developed our own EDI toolset that processes and loads the data contained in EDI files into the IHA data repository.
The data is leveraged by our ETL Engine, which consumes the data from the repository and creates the data warehouse.
Our Terminology & Quality Portal provides insight into the data’s meaning and quality.
The Instant Health Analytics (IHA) team has accomplished some amazing things so far. We have developed our products, which include our Data Model, ETL Engine, Terminology & Quality Portal, and EDI Processor.
