Triunfando Juntas Group’s story

The communal bank Triunfando Juntas is starting its 15th cycle with Pro Mujer, within the Juan Pablo II regional hub. It comprises eight members and is governed by a board of directors. Nieves is the President of the board.

The loan they are requesting will benefit Nieves and the rest of the micro-entrepreneurs in her group. She currently works selling clothing, particularly jackets. She says she learned the business from her family several years ago.

She will use her portion of this loan to increase her working capital and buy jackets from the different wholesale distributors in her city, which is Desaguadero, Peru. She will then sell them at her retail space. She is married, so this work allows her to generate the resources she needs in order to financially support her family.

In this group: Nieves Yovana , Sofia , Katerin Julia , Angelica , Ana Viqui , Zulema , Macario , Maria Elena
