I grew up in Puerto Rico where I also went to college for Computer Engineering. I started developing my skills in the corporate tech world, where I worked for companies like HP and Microsoft. There, I learned the importance of operations, processes and systems. These experiences positioned me within a diverse group of professionals who came together to form cross-functional teams equipped with everything needed to deliver results. As a certified Scrum Master, I leverage my experience in our manufacturing process and product increments. My experience in operations, agile environments and creative teams have shaped me perfectly for JUST ONCE.
My most significant accomplishment has been the ability to persist with my vision, to pivot when needed and to finally break even in a very tough sector. The luxury fashion goods market is extremely competitive and dominated by companies that claim their heritage as their biggest value proposition, yet I was able to design and manufacture a product entirely in Puerto Rico that has proven its potential to dominate its sub-category globally, using a bit of my own money — but most importantly — revenue from sales right from the start.

More about this loan
Headwear for true individuals. Each JUST ONCE hat is one-of-a-kind — in every sense — hand-crafted to the highest standard.
Every single piece of hand-crafted, luxury headwear that leaves our workshop is one of a kind. By never repeating a design, we offer our customers total exclusivity in a market where mass produced products are the rule. Even so-called “limited edition” and “customized” offerings fall very short in comparison. This 1 of 1 concept is revolutionary today, but it is also traditional — mirroring our production method wherein we combine heritage craftsmanship techniques with cutting-edge designs. Our patterns are proprietary and our manufacturing and design processes would be very difficult for a potential competitor to replicate. They were built from the ground up using a mix of legacy and contemporary technologies. Our senior craftsman, striving for a perfect fabrication, developed many custom attachments to our machines, which themselves were modified and retrofitted for each step in the process. In addition, design and manufacturing happen in a very close, hands-on and collaborative way. Current technologies have enabled us to source the highest quality materials that are most appropriate to each design, and they allow us to reach our customers and deliver on our value proposition.
