‘The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)’ is a play written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield that parodies William Shakespeare’s Anthology. In 90 minutes, three actors will perform all 37 plays and 154 sonnets; as you can imagine, mayhem ensues! Produced by Bindle Brothers – Alex Packard, Nick Rowe and Eli Gallagher – together with Director John Saunders, wish to bring this highly entertaining play to The Sydney Fringe Festival this September at the Lend Lease Darling Quarter Theatre. But they can’t do it alone… so we are asking for YOUR help. Any donation, big or small, will go towards bringing this fast paced, fun-filled play to the stage. So please donate and let us bring a smile to your face, as well as show you our favourite moments of Willy Shakespeare’s wonderful work!
The funds raised will be going to covering the costs of putting on a play, such as props, costumes and sets. However, the biggest cost is venue hire, and that’s where we need your help. The venue hosting the show will be The Lend Lease Darling Quarter Theatre, well known as the home of Monkey Baa.
The challenges are, of course, that without the money to pay for venue, services, props, costumes and sets, the show simply cannot go on. Theatre is, and always has been, a team effort. Go on, be a part of our team!
