STOP THE DUMP

THE STORY:

Anaheim is proposing to build a Biogas Energy Plant on Lakeview and Orangethrope. If this facility is built the air pollution and putrid smells of heating and collecting the biogas will spread throughout Yorba Linda, Anheim, Orange, and Placentia. Currently Anaheim is projecting three dump trucks an hour coming into the facility each hour. Anaerobic Processing centers expel gases that our senses can smell a reported 1.7 km, which is a 1 mile radius. The plant is to be constructed a half mile from the border of Anaheim and Yorba Linda. Additionally, it will be nestled among thriving businesses and homes on Lakeview and Orangethorpe, near our developing downtown. Many homes and community parks will sit downhill from the plant, effecting health and the quality of life.
