Lim’s Group’s story

Lim is a local farmer who has been growing rice in Kampong Cham province, where rice crops are the most popular. She is 51 years old and she has two children. In her spare time from growing rice, she has managed to catch fish in order to earn additional income. Through these businesses she can save 3 USD each day, after deducting daily expenses, .

This is her second loan cycle with VisionFund. The previous loan transformed her family’s situation to being better, with enough food. With this progress, she decided to apply for a new loan to buy fertilizer in order to produce more yields.

In the future, she hopes that her rice business will gain her a good income so that she can improve her standard of living.
