Greta’s story

Meet Greta! She is a 26-year-old young farmer from Sardarapat village. She has been in farming for eight years already. She is a married woman and is a mother of three: 6-year-old twins and a 1-year-old son. She shares her accommodation with her nuclear family and in-laws.

Greta supports her family with the help of her husband. They run a mixed farm with livestock and many gardens. Her livestock consists of cows, oxen, sows, hens, chickens, and turkeys. They cultivate grass, apricots, peaches, and organic cucumbers.

She realizes sales of the gathered harvest among her neighbors and in the local markets. She wants to develop her farm to provide a proper living for her children.

Greta has applied for this loan to pay for fertilizer, soil plowing work, forage, and fuel needed for cultivation work to develop her farm. She is very grateful for your help and hopes for your warm response.
