A Little Water is a story about the secrets we keep. On the anniversary of a tragic accident four people come together for a weekend by the lake. What transpires in the next twenty-four hours between siblings, friends, and lovers will change them forever.
Why this film?
Our film is about love, loss, and family. We strongly believe that we have a provocative story to tell, that is entangled with relationship hardship, family loyalty, and a tragic loss; these themes are complicated by the towering pressure to succeed in your career.
Why us?
We are two actors who live to tell stories. We have assembled a company of creative people that are passionate about telling this story, and we have been given so much already thanks to some wonderful creative companies and individuals. We are shooting on location at a lakehouse in New Jersey on the RED EPIC DRAGON. If the importance of WOMEN IN FILM interests you as much as it does us, then GREAT. We have a female writer, female director, and a female cinematographer.

About This Team
Director: Alexandra Zelman-Doring is an award winning writer, director, and actor. In 2005, she founded Throes Theater, a Drama-Desk winning company whose plays have premiered in the UK and in the US at theaters including The Flea Theater, 59E59, Dixon Place, Access Theater, Theater for the New City, and HERE Arts Center. She has collaborated with filmmakers, musicians, and performers from all over the world. Cinematographer: Alice Miller was born and raised in London, UK. She started making art films during high school and developed this interest at Brighton Art School before crossing the pond to attend New York University. Studying an individualized degree, ‘Mesmerizing the Masses’, at NYU’s Gallatin, she mixed the theoretical, philosophical and practical sides of image making and examined its place in today’s world. She finished her education with a year at New York Film Academy. Alice realized that the visual part of film making was the most natural for her and devoted her energy to cinematography. She loves to find an unusual and non commercial angle to tell a story, something unexpected but somehow familiar. She now works freelance on music videos, narrative and experimental films, and commercials in Europe and USA.
