Our focus is for every guest to have that experience – to have the opportunity to make a choice that is healthy, sustainable, familiar, delicious, cruelty-free, and environmentally friendly. Each dish on VURRITO’s menu is made up entirely from whole-foods and vegetables. We’re talking sweet potatoes, eggplant, portobello mushrooms, peppers, avocados, summer squash, black beans and corn. Even our salsa, rice and desserts are fresh and unique. This is Mexican inspired cuisine – there are no limits.

It’s VURRITO’s goal to exceed your expectations when you choose to visit us. The current “quick and easy” options are not good for us and we know it. They leave us feeling sick and unsatisfied. The problem that exists here is that there are no alternatives to this fast, cheap, low-quality food that has saturated the market. With this “quick and easy” food comes artificial ingredients, harmful additives, and pesticides. Add in growth hormones, antibiotics, and the mass bred, mistreated animals and you have a recipe for disaster. Only now are we starting to realize that animal agriculture is one of the largest, if not THE largest contributor to global warming. It doesn’t have to stay that way. People are waking up and realizing that it’s time to fight back. It’s time to take control of the food we produce and consume. We must move forward as human beings and we must focus on ourselves, generations to come, and on our planet. It’s time to make a difference. It’s time to eat what’s right!

Risks and challenges

There are Risks and Challenges associated with any restaurant startup. Here’s why we think VURRITO’s standards will mitigate those risks. For one, there is no one currently doing what we do. Our competitors are the non-healthy options that are not good for us. They contribute directly to obesity, heart disease, global warming and animal cruelty (just to name a few). VURRITO™ is a sustainable, cruelty-free food option for everyone.

One of the of the most important aspects of a restaurant business is controlling food costs. VURRITO™ can lead the fast-casual industry in food cost percentage and at the same time, provide the highest quality ingredients! All of our ingredients are used in multiple menu items, which reduces the cost and potential waste of each product. We also have very little chance of cross contamination, there are no animal by-products, which means no nasty salmonella.

We believe there are multiple effective and profitable ways of bringing VURRITO™ to the masses! VURRITO’s model is exceptionally scalable and profitable: this includes catering, food trucks, farmers markets, food carts, as well as wholesale in stores or online. The sky is the limit!
