Grammar With A twist GWAT) is a physical kit that is designed for children in any learning environment. It is a complete package and includes a physical kit of manipulatives that is easy to integrate into all situations. Each Kit contains a complete set of manipulatives that represent parts of speech (each kit contains 30 shapes), a comprehensive curriculum for K-12, and a colorful activities and assessment workbook that guides the student as they progress through a structured/paced curriculum. GWAT provides a way for students to learn parts of speech, sentence structure, and effective writing without the need for computer access. Can be made available in multiple languages extending its appeal to an international audience. Tactile nature of the product means students will retain and recall learned information leading to better understanding and grasp of language structure.
Ken Lini is an experienced IT professional who has worked in corporate and small business environments including the Department of Agriculture, IBM and Agilent for 30+ years. He extensive project management experience; has developed and implement systems that contribute to the bottom line.
Mr. Lini has successfully managed several small, start-up companies and, as Managing Partner, demonstrated strong management skills in establishing the companies as business entities.
As project manager he has successfully implemented several large, complex networking and software development projects and is known to bring projects in on schedule and within budget.
Roberta Ford has an M.S. Education + 75 post graduate hours. She spent 40 years teaching at the elementary, middle, high school, and college levels. Later, Ms. Ford developed and implemented GRAMMAR with a TWIST at Highline Academy (K-8 DPS charter school).
Roberta was honored as 1990 Colorado Teacher of the Year as a result of her work.
Roberta brings extensive knowledge and experience in the Education domain with particular emphasis the Common Core State Standard curriculum standards.
Dave Love is a senior IT networking specialist with over 40 years of diverse experience in the government, financial, retail, medical, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical and communications industry sectors. He has five years of international experience in the Middle East with the US Government deploying technology to support hydrologists, meteorologists, food scientists and soil scientists.
Mr. Love has proven ability to lead, manage, design, plan, and implement network performance management, testing and capacity planning solutions that support business objectives for IBM internal, external, e-business and On Demand customers; possessing a unique and creative perspectives on problem resolution.
Jim Cox is an experienced businessman and a lawyer with over 30 years of corporate experience. He has organized, financed, and managed a technology company and a mining operation. As a practicing attorney, he handled numerous acquisitions, mergers and divestitures, made six appearances before the Kentucky Supreme Court, tried two cases resulting in multi-million dollar jury verdicts, and won a precedent setting RICO action before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, representing major banks, mining companies, highway contractors, health care concerns, and government agencies.
Mr. Cox brings a deep understanding on the structuring of and financing of start-up companies.
