Our product, The GoCaddy, represents the dawn of advancement in golf transportation technology. In partnership with our manufacturer, we have created the lightest and most versatile portable personal golf cart and Neighborhood Electric Vehicle.
In partnership with GoPed Ltd, manufacturers of the popular GoPed electric scooter, GoCaddy International Ltd.is the exclusive global distributor of The GoCaddy line of products. It is protected by U.S. Patent no. 7,322,434 B1, Collapsible Golf Scooter Cart Having Fold Out Balance Wheels, issued on January 29, 2008. Our distribution is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta and the product manufacturing facility is located in Minden, Nevada.
An e-commerce platform has been launched with initial marketing efforts limited to attracting investor equity and appearing on “The Dragons’ Den” Season 10 (not yet aired). We have a fully developed production model and are ready to launching the product. We are seeking equity funding for our initial full production run, marketing and promotion.
Golf is attracting an increasing number of people from all walks of life. Many in the current golfer demographic are seniors who require some form of mobility aid in order to continue playing at a consistent level. In 2013, 69% of all North American rounds were played using a golf cart. Regardless of age, our demographic analysis shows a clear need for golfers to be able to drive directly up to their ball. When golf courses implement “cart-path-only” or even a “90 degree” rule, pace of play is negatively impacted. As a result, fewer players are taking up the game due to the duration of play.
In addition, golf courses in the U.S. are required to comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act, a stable and lightweight single-rider design has a greater level of acceptance over the heavier units currently available.
Our product is the solution to slow play. It also offers a financial incentive to both the customer and golf course. Golfers who purchase their own unit save money over the long term by avoiding rental fees. Golf courses can supplement their existing fleet with GoCaddy units and rent them out. Improved pace of play means courses will add more tee times and more revenue.
Our unique new product, The GoCaddy, represents the dawn of advancement in golf transportation technology. We have developed a revolutionary lightweight personal golf transportation system that fits easily inside the storage area of most cars, trucks and SUVs. It is built around an electric scooter platform and, although it is intended primarily for use on a golf course, it readily converts to a portable neighborhood electric vehicle.
Other single-rider carts are beginning to access the mainstream market, but they cater to an able-bodied golfer looking for more excitement out of their game. The GoCaddy is the safer alternative that still offers an exhilarating experience of “cruising” the course while maintaining the integrity of fairway grass.
Available in four models – GoCaddy 1.0, EX, TKI and TKI EX
