Weirdly Wonderful Sweet & Sour Lemon, Lime and Orange Crab Plush Toys.
Hi! I’m Shelly. An illustrator and character designer by trade, I love designing weird but cute toys. After doing a bunch of other KS projects, I’ve decided to keep this one suuuper simple.
This Kickstarter project is to get 500 Lemon, Lime and Orange Crab plush made.
These citrus crabbies are the embodiment of summer. Think of how refreshing your afternoons could be: Lemon Crabade. Lime Crab agua fresca. Fresh squeezed Orange Crabjuice! Just kidding! These pals are only for hugging, not for juicing.
Each plush is 14″ from claw-to-claw, and perfectly in proportion with the original Crabapple plush toy! Made out of minky fabric with embroidered details, they are kid-safe and machine washable on gentle cycle. Keep them out of the dryer, though. Crabs don’t like when things are too toasty. :<
For a $20 pledge you get a choice of one plush, a digital wallpaper sent to you within 24 hours of your pledge, and a postcard with original art to commemorate the campaign, sent out within a month of the campaign ending. After the campaign is over, the price will lock in at $25 per plush, and any stretch goal extras we unlock during the campaign will not be included.
If we reach our goal before the project deadline, there are a bunch of other crabby fruit rewards we can unlock together! :) These rewards will automatically come with each $20+ tier once they are unlocked!
Lemon Crab Enamel Pin – unlocks at $12k, Orange Crab Enamel Pin – unlocks at $15k, Lime Crab Enamel Pin – unlocks at $18k
If we mangage to get past 25K, maybe our little crab family will get bigger? :D
Inki-Drop adds Japanese-inspired ocean cuteness to your life. These charming characters are a fun way for children (and children at heart) to learn about marine conservation. Learn more at inki-drop.com
I’m a dreamer, a creator and a wannabe mermaid. ♥
I love the ocean and all of it’s creatures, from the obviously adorable sea otter to the strange and wonderfully gross blobfish. Every single animal and plant is important, no matter how cute, scary or repulsive. That’s why I aim my work to be whimsical as well as educational.
I earned a BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida (class of 2007). I spent quite a few years working in the video game industry, but I currently devote all my efforts to running the retail and wholesale business of inki-Drop, in addition to creating all the art, photography and marketing materials. I am a girl who wears many hats!

I have three successful Kickstarter projects under my belt and run a full time retail/wholesale business. I have a strong working relationship with all my manufacturers, and if there are any delays in production (which can unfortunately happen) I will notify backers immediately.
