The Bunker Hill Lead, Zinc, and Silver mine located in Kellogg Idaho is virtually a Turn Key fully permitted Silver producing mine with 400 miles of workings, 150 miles of rail, 43-101 certified ore reserves and a newly constructed milling facility.
The Bunker Hill Mine is located in Kellogg Idaho, the mine site consist of 6400 acres of patented mining ground that covers the mass of 2 miles wide by 6 miles long, The mining operations started in the late 1800’s and operated 24/7 for over a 100 years until low metal prices combined with stringent EPA regulations prompted the closure in 1981. The mine was purchased by Placer Mining Corporation in 1991 and has been in care and maintenance mode since. Within the last year, we constructed a new milling facility and were able to obtain all necessary permits and licenses to commence mining activities for high grade lead and silver.
The Bunker Hill Mines the 43-101 certified high grade ore reserves from the mineral deposits within the underground workings, the ore is then milled and processed into a concentrate that is sold to a refinery or brokerage firm for revenue gains.
Bob Hopper Jr. has been appointed the CEO/President of Placer Mining Corporation, the owner of the Bunker Hill Mine by the board of PMC after the passing of his father in 2011. Bob Hopper Jr. has a back ground of operational control, metal fabrication and system designs in many fassets of the mining industry.
