Ever wish your wall outlet was closer to you? Well now it can be a reality with the Tesla Socket!
Have you ever been sitting half way on the couch because you are trying to catch a pokemon on your phone but the usb charger is at full extension and about to fall out of the socket at any minute? Or you and your friends are playing a nice game of monopoly when Steve trips over your fully taut charger cable and falls right onto to park place. Well now there is a solution!
The Tesla Socket is an extendable and retractable USB extension chord from the wall outlet. From the outside it looks like a normal socket with a USB plug-in but with a simple pinch and pull, you are able to release and extend the plug-in as far as you want. When you are done, a gentle tug activates the spring mechanism inside to recoil the wire back into the wall tucked away neatly. This mechanism is similar to that found on vacuums and irons where the power chord can recoil.
We are currently still in the beginning stages and working towards producing two prototypes. One will have the USB plug is able to extend and the other is for the socket to extend. Along with the two models, we have 3 different length options of 10 ft, 20 ft, and 30 ft. We are in the early stages of our project and are looking for help from investors. Help can be in the form of capitol towards developing the prototypes or can be general advice for a start up company. Anything helps and is very much appreciated!

Some older houses do not have enough space for the larger length reels. This makes the product not flush with the wall and can be an eye sore.
