Social Enterprise Contest Finalists Selected

July 18, 2016, St, Louis, USA – The four finalists of the Social Enterprise Contest have been selected, with the grand prize winner to be announced during the 2016 JCI Global Partnership Summit.
The Social Enterprise Contest; an initiative of the Global Youth Empowerment Fund, was launched on April 1, 2015 by JCI and kountable and will offer trade financing to one established, for-profit social enterprise that is helping to advance the Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
The four finalists are Paola Aristizabal of Fundación Fuerza Verde, Anjith Augustine of City+Futures Design Collaborative, Nidal Khalifeh of Edaura and Burcu Atasoy of Kariyer Enerjim.
Fundación Fuerza Verde of Colombia is devoted to the social transformation of Colombia through education and implementing projects enhancing human and environmental development.
City+Futures Design Collaborative of India is a multi-disciplinary practice where architecture, city and society can come together in solving issues focused on urban architecture and the urban landscape of India.
Edaura of Jordan is an educational platform that improves communication between learners and educators by providing social communications methods and advanced formative and summative assessment tools and reports to measure learning outcomes and advance the overall educational process for continuous improvement.
Kariyer Enerjim of Turkey gives job seekers and newly graduated university students the chance to prepare for job interviews and view recruiting strategies simulations of companies in order to minimize unemployment and create an economy that has conscious employees through providing regular and sustainable services.
The finalists will convene July 28 at the United Nations Headquarters during the 2016 JCI Global Partnership Summit in New York City where Founder and CEO of kountable Chris Hale will award funding to one grand prize winner.
