Eboni’s story

I grew up in working South Central LA with my younger brother Henry who also happens to be a barber.

My dad was in the military while we were growing up. My mom was a stay at home mom. My grandpa was a barber in Watts. I spent childhood in his shop. I completed high school.

I moved to Bay Area at age 17. I attended college at Cal State Hayward. I then left to follow my love to Vegas where I spent 10 years. I then returned to be a Barber at Moler Barber College in San Francisco. I worked in Brothers Barber shop for 2 years and 4 years later I opened my own Barber Shop in 2005.

This loan is special because:

It helps promote economic development in Oakland, California.
