Several years ago, I began a journey to change my life. Back then, I was 260lbs, unhappy and uncomfortable in my own skin. Over several months I changed my entire life. By increasing my level of exercise, the way I thought, and the way I ate. As a result of taking control of my health, I gained: clarity, freedom, agility, energy, and confidence. I wondered if there were other people, like me, who wanted to make a change. I am now an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified personal trainer. I have been in my client’s shoes, I am able to empathize with their frustrations and offer encouragement from a place of support, free of judgment. Plant Based Fitness grew out of a necessity. That necessity being a place where people will meet their fitness goals. I don’t just focus on what can be seen; the outward appearance, weight lifted and weight loss. I focus on the underlying factors of health: the client’s thinking, nutrition, and body confidence. Because I would like to support my clients more, I will offer Plant Based Juicery, a smoothie and juicer bar inside on site with Plant Based Fitness.
