Sivhourt’s story

Sivhourt is a 50-year-old married rice farmer who also fattens animals for resale. She has two children who attend school. She lives in a village in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.

She has been growing rice and fattening animals for resale to earn income since 1987. Her husband is 54 years old and is a sesame farmer and fisherman. Both of them can earn around $9.99 each day.

Currently, she would like to request a loan to rent a plow tractor for farming. This loan can help her cultivate rice on time and earn more income for her family.

In the future, she wants to expand her farm, save money to renovate her house, and support her children to earn higher education.

This loan is special because:

It supports the social and economic well-being of low-income families.
