After years of small stories told on on Facebook and Instagram, the Coyote and the Pig will finally release their first book.
About this project
To the perfect Coyote and the Pig readers,
In 2011, the Girl started writing small stories in a journal about the adventures the coyote and I had each day.
We soon started a Facebook page, and for a long time we had around 8 people that liked it and read it every day. 🙂 When we hit 100 fans, we couldn’t believe it.
In the start of 2015, we started publishing the story from the very beginning – from the days where I was in the cage and the coyote was on the street; when we met the Girl, met each each other, went on our first adventure, and went on the many exciting adventures after that.
Just a couple months ago, we restarted the story on Facebook and Instagram so you could catch up, and see it play out with new pictures, and in videos.
Now, we are releasing our first hard copy book. If you know the whole story, it will go from the beginning through the end of the first adventure into the dark mountains, where the coyote and I get close to meeting the monster, and I fall down the crevice…
We are so excited of you to read it.
If you put any money towards this Kickstarter, it will get us to our goal of $6000 to get the book published and out by September/October – if we receive more than our goal, it will go towards publishing the next books sooner rather than later 🙂 However! If we don’t reach the goal, the books will still be published – it just might take a little longer. Either way, we are doing this.
And this would never be happening without the ongoing support of all of you. You have made so many of our dreams come true. You make the coyote and I want to keep adventuring, and you make the Girl want to keep writing. We are forever grateful to you, and we can’t wait to keep putting out more stories for you to enjoy.
We love you. More than you know.
Risks and challenges
This is the Girl’s first time ever publishing a book, so this is all new to her. There might be some bumps along the way, but that’s life, and we are pretty sure the deadline is a doable one 🙂
