Arkados Group, Inc., through its subsidiaries, is a global provider of scalable and interoperable Internet of Things solutions focused on industrial automation and energy management, with specific applications for building and machine automation.
Arkados, Inc., our technology subsidiary, has developed the Arktic™ software platform, a scalable and interoperable cloud-based system for sensing, gathering, storing, analyzing data as well as reporting critical information and implementing command and control. Our applications currently focus on measurement and verification and predictive analytics and are expanding to include building and city automation. Our software platform and applications are implemented with hardware products, such as gateways, sensors and cameras, of our strategic partner, Tatung Company. Arkados Energy Solutions, our services subsidiary, is a general contractor providing energy conservation services to commercial building owners and managers. These services include energy assessments, LED lighting retrofits, oil-to-natural gas boiler conversions and solar PV system installations. The companies combine to provide solutions to building owners that increase return on investment, reduce operational cost and save energy.
Aside from our strategic partnership with Tatung, a large Taiwan-based manufacturer of commercial and industrial electonics products, our core strengths lie in an experienced management team, growing, high margin revenue, access to top-tier customers, valuable channel and OEM partners, and an opportunity to immediately distribute and monetize our proprietary intellectual property.
Our corporate strategy is to utilize our open software platform to work with Tatung to create applications that save energy, lower operating costs and increase productivity. Our initial applications are used for Measurement and Verification and Predictive Maintenance. Future applications include Smart Building and Smart Surveillance.
The Arktic™ software platform is a secure, scalable and interoperable system designed for industrial applications, such as smart machines, smart buildings and smart cities.
Smart Factory Application: a cloud- and local server-based software system designed to easily integrate with various types of electronic products and equipment, gather and store usage data from them and generates reports and rules-based alerts for measurement and verification and predictive analytics.
Smart Building Application: local gateway, power meter and CTs used to gather energy consumption data in real time and provide measurement and verification information for energy conservation measures.
