We develop and commercialize innovative biological collection devices. With over twenty-five years of experience in the DNA Forensics market, we have patented the SwabSaver device designed to remotely collect, protect and preserve biological samples

We currently sell a full line of biological collection devices designed for the collection, protection and room temperature preservation of blood and saliva samples to the forensics market. Our new patented SwabSaver device can accept any type of swab with small or large amounts of buccal (cheek) cells, saliva or blood samples. The SwabSaver is designed so anyone can collect a biological sample anywhere and then have it protected and preserved for years at room temperature. We plan to pursue a FDA submission on the SwabSaver device in order to compete in the personal genomics and precision medicine markets. Both of these markets use genetic information from a collected sample like the forensic market has been doing for decades. We can offer the easiest to use devices that collect enough sample with one swab rather than making people spit into a tube to collect a sample for genetic analysis. We plan to offer FDA approved collection kits that customers can use at home to collect a sample for genetic tests like ancestry testing and eventually we will provide kits for medical testing like cancer screening or in vitro diagnostic testing. We have experts that have regulatory experience and will manage the FDA submission as well as production experts with twelve issued patents. Our president has successfully commercialized five types of biological sample collection devices before starting Fast Forward Forensics and was asked by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to participate as the only private sector member of the Technical Working Group on the Biological Evidence Preservation. As a member of that group ne helped to co-author the Biological Preservation Handbook. With our experience and patented products for producing kits for biological sample collection, we plan to complete our FDA submission next year and enter into the larger genomic markets with data we are currently generating with three universities.
