Yarm Rugby Club is a small club based in the North East of England. As a club we are not blessed with great financial support and rely heavily on the goodwill of the volunteers who run the club, the coaching and our limited facilities. I have been coaching at the club for nearly five years now having started when my son was coming up to his 5th birthday and throughout that time, the tag teams have always had the same shirts. In fact those shirts were already a few years old when I was there so they must be at least 8 years old now.
Whilst we are not blessed with financial support, we do not lack in commitment or ambition and our youth and mini set up is going from strength to strength. I think that its about time that the kids were rewarded with new strips that they can be proud to play in each week.
This is the part where the team needs your help. I have secured a deal for new shirts and there is the possibility of advertising up to 3 sponsors on those shirts. There is the pride of place sponsorship on the chest of the shirt, sponsorship on the back or even on the sleeves. These shirts are going to be coming from a top brand in rugby and will last years, meaning that any sponsorship will be on display for the same time. As a sponsor, we can also offer to display links for your business on the club website. Please look at the options available.
Alternatively if you feel that you would like to support the team in their efforts, please make a donation of any amount that you can, it will all go into helping Stu and his quest for new shirts.
I will offer the added incentive that the first person to donate over £20 can have a rugby ball which is either signed by Sam Warburton or Chris Robshaw.
