Voip-Pal.com Inc. is a publicly traded corporation (OTC: VPLM) that acquired Digifonica International Limited (“Digifonica”) in 2013 in order to fund, co-develop and complete Digifonica’s suite of telecommunication patents.
Digifonica is a technology development company founded in 2003 with the vision that the internet would be the future of all forms of telecommunications. Digifonica assembled a team of twenty top engineers with expertise in Linux and Internet telephony which developed solutions for future connectivity using the internet. Digifonica operationalized and tested its suite of software solutions with applications in five core areas of internet connectivity:
1.) Routing, Billing and Rating (“RBR”);
2.) Lawful Intercept;
3.) Short Number Dialing (Enhanced 911);
4.) Mobile Gateway; and
5.) Uninterrupted Transmission
Voip-Pal considers its patent suite to be fundamental to modern telecommunications using internet protocol. Accordingly, the Company considers itself to have a stake among the vast subscribership which utilizes its routing and call classification technology for all applicable voice, messaging and internet payments employing messaging routing classifications.

Ten issued USPTO patents
Voip-Pal’s intellectual property value is derived from ten issued USPTO patents; including five parent patents, one of which is foundational and the others build upon the former. Voip-Pal inventions described in these patents provide the means to integrate VoIP services with any of the Telco systems to create a seamless service using either Legacy telephone numbers of IP addresses, and enhance the performance and value of VoIP implementations worldwide. Voip-Pal patented technology provides: Universal numbering ubiquity; Network value as defined by Metcalfe; the imperative of interconnect, termination, and recompense for delivery of calls by other networks; Regulatory compliance in regulated markets; Interconnection of VoIP networks to mobile and fixed networks; and Maintenance of uninterrupted VoIP calls across fixed, mobile, and WiFi networks.

Dr. Colin Tucker
Dr. Tucker is the former Director and CEO of Hutchison 3G, and one of the three founding directors of Orange plc, a company that was brought from a startup company in 1991 with a handful of staff to an enterprise with revenues of £3bn p.a. operating in 6 countries by 2000. Orange plc was ultimately sold to France Telecom for $25bn. Dr. Tucker is currently serving as Director of four companies and previously served as Director of five other companies. Dr. Tucker studied Electrical Engineering at Manchester University completing his studies with a Doctorate following research into the optimum techniques for interfacing humans with computer driven displays.

Emil Malak is the largest single shareholder of Voip-Pal stock. He was a co-founder of Digifonica in 2003 and oversaw the development of the patents acquired by Voip-Pal in 2013. Mr. Malak also serves as Chairman of the Board for a biotech company currently conducting cancer research in Germany.

Current President of Voip-Pal.com Inc. since September 3, 2009, Mr. Chang brings proven entrepreneurial experience in starting and establishing a $100M US computer manufacturing company in the 1980s. In 1988, Mr. Chang was included in the MicroTimes list of the 100 most influential people in the microcomputer industry. Mr. Chang was nominated as a 1989 finalist for “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Ernst & Young.

Professor Edwin Candy
Professor Ed Candy is the former Technology Director of Hutchison 3G, serving as 3 Group Technology Director for Hutchison 3G from 2000 to 2009, where he was primarily responsible for the technology for the world’s most advanced 3G Networks operating across nine countries. From 1996-2000, Mr. Candy served as Group Development Director for Simoco and from 1993-1996 as Technology Director for Orange, where he contributed significantly to the creation and success of the personal communication network. Mr. Candy now acts as a Strategic Technology advisor for the 3 Group and provides innovation guidance, strategic advice and consultancy through his company Strategitel Ltd.

Dr. Ryan Thomas
Dr. Ryan Thomas has served as Voip-Pal’s in-house counsel since 2013. He has been practicing law since 1979 and has over 35 years experience as a litigator. Over the course of his career he has served on many business and professional boards and held several key administrative positions. He is also a teacher of law and business. Dr. Thomas has a strong technological and computer science background and has extensive experience in patent law. During his tenure with Voip-Pal he has been instrumental in advising the Company on a variety of important legal matters.

D. Barry Lee is an experienced senior management consultant with proven abilities in all aspects of business, providing financial management, consulting and advisory services to private and public companies. He has over 30 years of experience working with public and private companies with particular expertise in financial management across various sectors including domestic and international energy, technology, real estate and resources. He has an extensive history in a broad spectrum of corporate endeavors, including start-ups, mergers and acquisitions and restructurings,corporate governance and public company compliance.
