The Glastonbury Way is a self development book, aiming to help people reconnect with their true selves & combat the stresses of daily life.
The Glastonbury Way is a self development book, aiming to help people reconnect back with their true selves and combat the stresses of daily life. The book is set out in six main sections, focusing on our five core senses and our sense of feelings and intuitions. It takes the author’s experiences of dealing with stress, culminating in taking a trip to the heart centre of the world; Glastonbury. The book is meant to be a practical read, where there are exercises and meditations in each section to be practiced and used regularly. It is my hope this little book can help to change people’s views and ways of living, for the positive. If it helps one person, then I will be happy.
Written by Victoria Narey (BA Hons). I am a holistic lecturer and practitioner but have worked in corporate organisations and experienced the so called rat race, that is life. The book is a culmination of realising how the stresses of daily life, led me to forget who I truly was and what my beliefs and values were. It became obvious that I took life for granted and so I went on a journey to rediscover who I was.
I felt the need to write about my experiences and try to share some of the meditations and techniques I discovered along the way. A lot of these techniques I applied when in Glastonbury. It is my hope that by sharing my experiences with others, that no one has to feel alone in such situations and that positive changes may happen for those who read the book.
I am looking for funding for publishing and also marketing my book please. I wish to reach as many people as I can and for this I need help with funds. My rewards for funding include thank you emails/ letters or a signed copy of my book and for those who donate more than £50, all of the above and an invite to a book launch.
