Take ‘Fingertips’ to Edinburgh Fringe Festival ’16

A Film and Theatre project London, United Kingdom

Help us take our debut play ‘Fingertips’, a brave and dynamic piece of new writing, to the Edinburgh Fringe!

Oh Hey!

In The Attic Productions is a London-based theatre company founded in March 2016. We champion fresh ideas and diverse perspectives. We are a company that believe it shouldn’t matter where you come from, where, or if you trained. In The Attic, passion is imperative, qualifications are not. Sometimes life is training enough.

We would love your support!

Help us take our Fringe debut Fingertips, a brave and dynamic piece of new writing from playwright Naomi Fawcett, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016.

We believe that any creative who contributes to our company deserves to be paid for their work, so we will be paying all actors from our own pockets, and funds raised here will go towards the other production costs. Theatre is a challenging industry to make a living from, and we are passionate about putting income back into the industry we love.

Your generosity will also cover amongst other things:

  • Accommodation and travel for our cast members
  • Costume & set
  • Flyers & posters

What’s the show?

‘Everything you thought you knew is now basically obsolete.’

Fingertips is a play about life as a twenty-something, struggling to find your place in a digital world.

Over the course of one hedonistic Halloween, the play poignantly dissects the quarter-life crisis; the issues that we face, the anxieties that we feel, the dreams that we have and the fear that they might never be realised.

Inspired by verbatim interviews, Fingertips explores what sex, love and identity mean to this lost generation, desperate for independence but scared to grow up.

Real people, real relationships, real life.
