Interaction increases ROI — that’s our guiding principle at ECHOTAG, a turnkey SaaS (Software as a Service) solution for advertising campaigns broadcasted over television, radio, podcasts, streaming services, and other audible media.
By creating interaction between the consumer and the broadcasted ad, we inspire potential customers to act like no other service can, thus providing real-time user data, increased brand awareness, and tremendous ROI.
At ECHOTAG, we’re changing the way brands create and make use of ad campaigns through one simple, but extremely powerful principle: “interaction.”
ECHOTAG solves three recurring problems for advertisers and brand managers:
Problem #1: The ROI for ads broadcasted over radio, TV, and content streaming services is low because the viewer does not remember the ads’ specific information and is unable to react to it.
ECHOTAG solution to problem #1: ECHOTAG allows the audience to automatically capture a broadcasted ad and interact with it during or after the show.
Problem #2: Common TV ads are too broad, too long, and too repetitive. They interrupt user’s viewing experience and offer only general information without providing specific deals, leading viewers to tune out ads completely or switch to ad-free content sources.
ECHOTAG solution to problem #2: ECHOTAG provides the means to accompany every mobile ad with the associated link pointing to the brand’s web page offering exclusive deals, coupons, clearance announcements, and more.
Problem #3: There is currently no way to collect data about consumers’ reaction to the ad since there is no interactive interface between the listeners and the ad.
ECHOTAG solution to problem #3: ECHOTAG monitors user’s actions inspired by the captured ad and reports these actions to brands.
How exactly do we achieve these three feats?
The ECHOTAG Service Workflow
As shown in the above figure, ECHOTAG is a B2B service available to brands directly or through their respective agents such as ad agencies and media companies, as well as to content broadcasters such as Comcast, Directv, Dish Network, Time Warner, iHeartRadio, Rhapsody, etc. The digital watermarking and content management service is available to all of them through the ECHOTAG server API.
At the same time, the ECHOTAG Decoding SDK is provided to clients to be ported onto their native mobile apps, so the listener of the audio content is always able to decode and memorize valuable content items and have assured access to them through the web at any time.
ECHOTAG provides consumers, advertisers, broadcasters and media channels, and market researchers with four huge market advantages:
The ECHOTAG service environment is ready to accept clients:
We have begun talks with broadcasting organizations in Mexico and Russia about our patent-pending service. We have also had discussions with the CEO of Gravity Media. Gravity has Comcast, Directv, and Dish as clients, so we are currently demoing our solution for them.
As we continue to develop our demo environment, we’re also thinking of additional markets to explore in due time. ECHOTAG technology can be also used for capturing audible ads broadcasted in retail stores and malls, for example, and can be a valuable tool in a number of verticals.
