A super funny tragic follow-up short from the 2016 Sundance Film Festival winning team behind THUNDER ROAD.
About this project
Jim and Julia spend their day on a wonderful date in Los Angeles; they are very much in love. Interspersed, are scenes of Jim at Julia’s funeral.
We’re making this film from the 27th to the 30th of June. We’ll be filming on long lenses in real places to capture a documentary (almost nature documentary) feel.
We want to set up and audience to care for these people, understand modern loss, and give them ammunition for coping with mortality in 2016 America.
Here are two short films, written and directed by Julia and Jim:
Risks and challenges
We’re crowdfunding this film to deliver a product directly to the investors and to pay our crew a living wage for their work.
We would also like to pay a proper composer to score the film, so we’re raising a small amount of funds to do so.
Please help us to tell this story.
