Business Description
We Shop. We Cook. You Eat. League of Chefs prepares healthy, home cooked meals tailored to each client’s desires. Every aspect of meal planning and preparation is handled by us. After a brief intake, LOC will customize a menu for each client’s needs, do the necessary shopping, prepare the meals in the client’s home and package it up in the fridge for easy consumption. LOC provides a convenient, accessible, affordable and flexible service to busy families looking for a healthy alternative to frozen meals and take out dinners. Family time is given back to the family because the work of dinner is done. LOC brings a service, once considered a luxury, to working families and makes it an attainable reality. Our customer base has the potential for being quite broad and widespread. Our target customer is a home with 2 working adults who normally eat take out or prepared foods most nights of the week. Not only are they interested in making the end of their work day less stressful, but they are also interested in healthy food made with wholesome ingredients. They have a genuine interest in food, but don’t have the time or energy to mindfully put the meals together themselves for their families. They might be overwhelmed by picky eaters, dietary restrictions, or a lack of culinary knowledge and experience.
What is the purpose of this loan?
I plan on hiring a graphic designer to help me rework my logo and brand. This will have an initial cost of $2,400. Once my logo is completed, I will be able to purchase very important printed materials that are essential for growing my business (business cards, postcards, newspaper ads, etc). A food stylist and professional photographer are $1,900 per day and will provide necessary visual content for my website. I will be hiring a website design firm ($10,000+) to help me create a website that will attract new clients, as well as streamline my current business. The site will have client intake forms as well as various payment methods allowing me to secure money with greater ease than my current invoicing system. I anticipate that a loan of $10,000 will bring in more than $60,000 in revenue within the first 5-6 months.
