High Spirit Bags creates stylish bags with a theft proof design to protect the users possessions from pickpockets and loss while on their travels. We fuse style and security to create an accessory that is both fashionable and functional.
Pickpocketing is a major issue that affects towns and cities globally and year on year it is increasing. The UK alone averages over 600,000 pickpocketing incidents each year. Through identifying this problem, we wanted to solve it, so we created a theft-proof backpack that has protected IP on the design with the vertical zip on the back of the bag.
We’re sure that this product will prove to be valuable in the current information age where it’s common for someone to carry high value items such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets daily. Since the company was founded in 2013 it has gained a lot of brand exposure. Within the first month of founding the company we won the Virgin Pioneer Award which also secured the company a cash prize of £5000 from Richard Branson. High Spirit has been featured in the Metro, BBC, Elle, The Guardian and Shell Live-wire. The company was also featured in a two part business segment on the BBC One Show with Theo Paphitis, which exposed the company to a wider audience.
