Vending machines for offices, schools and universities producing stationary, keyboards and other office stuff – so you don’t have to wait!
‘NO VIDEO?!’ I HEAR YOU CRY –
Please read on and it will become apparent why we have no video.
Hello! Thank you for reading in to our project a little more. Everyone on the team here has worked in IT, or has been an IT User in a corporate environment before. So let us pose you question, have you ever spilled something on your keyboard at work, or broken your mouse and thought ‘Oh cr*p! I need to call IT and explain what I have done, they are going to be mad.’ or have you ever been late to a lecture at University and thought, ‘I need a pen and NOW!’? Well we have.
WHAT’S THE BIG IDEA?
The idea is to create vending machines which work off cash, RFID, SmartCards or Credit/Debit Cards. These wont dispense a Snickers or a packet of salted snacks – instead they will dispense things you are just too out of place to grab. For example, we will offer an IT solution where a company is able to fill up the machine with mice, keyboards, memory sticks, cables and all that breakable stuff and when you’re stuck instead of contacting IT and having to explain how Sandra came over and knocked your coffee all over your keyboard, you can go to your VendIT! Machine, swipe your card and then access a new keyboard. No waiting and NO embarrassing explaining!
The same idea applies to a university or school environment, instead the machines can be filled with pens/pads/stationary so you can grab it quick and not be late to your lecture or lesson.
WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP?
We have approached different organisations who are very keen on working with these machines, but we are a start-up after all. We cannot afford to buy a vending machine, so we have turned to you guys for help. The main reasons we have no video at the moment at the moment, is because it would be boring to see the code we wrote for the project without it doing anything. So we need your help, we know people want the machines and they like them. But we need to be able to buy the correct equipment to make our final prototype before putting it to production and advertising.
Why £15 000? I hear you ask –
£15 000 would make sure we can buy the correct tools to create the hardware, it would enable us to market the machines and it would enable us to put them in to prototype. So far we have the customer base we just need the tools to put this machine in to operation. (Please help us!)
HOW MUCH WILL THEY SELL FOR?
Depending on the size of machine and how many a customer plans on buying, the machines can range from around £1500 – £3000 which is still much cheaper than conventional vending machines. You can own a top of the range machine today! You just need to donate £2000, there’s always a catch right?
WHY HELP US?
We believe in making people’s lives easier, before we make profit. That is why we can make these machines so cheap because we care more about our idea getting out there and making a change than making a profit and making only a few lives better.
Even if you don’t donate, thank you for reading our case.
