The kids that live in this orphanage have all lost their parents, grandparents, or relatives in the earthquakes that happened here in Nepal earlier this year. They used to live in a nice place until one day the landlord decided he wanted more money from them. Upon learning that they couldn’t afford his newly made price, he evicted them and gave them about 10 days, to pack up, and find new accommodations.
I really need some help here. I would like to do more for these kids. They do not have running water. They do not have heating of any kind (and it is getting colder here). They do not have any comfortable surfaces to sleep on. They also do not really even have windows protecting their rooms from the outside elements.
Funds will initially be used to buy socks, shoes, warmer clothes, bedding, and blankets. After that, bigger things like shelving and windows for rooms to protect them from the elements and get things off of the floors. If things go well, then even bigger things like building supplies, and water tanks, as well as heaters to allow the kids to have warm showers.
