I used to be 260lbs and a heavy smoker. I was a size 18/20, suffering from hypertension and diabetes. It was difficult to find clothing for myself. One day, I was walking up the train station steps, heading home from work, and my legs locked on me. I prayed to God that if I made it home in one piece, that I would change my unhealthy lifestyle.
From that point on, I told myself I was not going on a “diet”, I was going to do a 360 degree lifestyle change. I threw out all the junk food and replaced it with healthy, organic food. I obtained my food handlers license. I educated myself on nutrition facts so that I could eat better. I started working out 3-4 days a week.
Now, I’m 162 lbs and size 8/10. My passion is to educate others and give them the opportunity to go through a 360 degree lifestyle change themselves. I believe it starts with healthy eating.
I decided to start this business about a year ago. When I saw that my lifestyle change was producing amazing results, I wanted to educate others so they could share my experience.
I’m working with yoga studios, gyms, personal trainers, and boot camps to provide healthy meal plans for their clients. My idea is to package and deliver healthy, organic and locally sourced boxed lunches to these locations so clients can just “grab and go”. My lunch box will stop people from eating fast food on the way home from the gym.
Down the line, I want to educate and mentor adults and children (because creating eating healthy habits should start young). My goal is to start a youtube cook show channel, start a blog and write a cook book.
With this loan, I’ll be able to purchase the items that I need to provide the lunch boxes to my interested clients. The breakdown of some of the items:
– $200 on the website
– $450 to get incorporated
– $350 for further nutrition education
– $75 business cards and fliers
– $500 food inventory
– $300 materials for boxes
