Personal Story

I’m inspired by life, people, art and nature.

My name is Antonio Parada. I have been working with top international advertising agencies for over 17 years as a Creative/Producer. Four years ago my wife and I moved from New York to Puerto Rico. It is here in Puerto Rico that we welcomed our first baby girl, Simone. Since arriving to Puerto Rico I have immersed myself in researching how communities can use art as an instrument of change. One area of focus is to bring to life abandon spaces, using my expertise and passion through a sustainable program that rehabilitates, communicates and promotes art for a better community.

Business Description

HOW WAS ESPACIO MINERVA CONCEIVED?
Espacio Minerva came out of various interests:
• We want to interact with artists from different disciplines and explore new creative ways to use spaces.
• We’ve spent years researching new ways to create relevant digital content and quality.
• We are part of the movement that is happening in the Santurce neighborhood, working with the community and providing a space where they can develop artistic and creative activities.

ESPACIO MINERVA
It is an alternative space, which provides a continuous cultural program to benefit the artistic community, neighbors, brands and visitors from Santurce.

Managed by a team of curators who design a calendar of cultural events in Minerva. Always ensuring that space has interesting, educating, enriching and innovative programs.

What is the purpose of this loan?

It will help me to position Espacio Minerva like first alternative space to get a multi-visual experience for the local comunnity.
